Gentle Earth Sound Therapy and Holistic Wellness

This seven-week group class utilizes breathwork and mindfulness exercise followed by immersive sound therapy designed to balance, regulate, and soothe the nervous system promoting healing in individuals experiencing the symptoms of chronic and traumatic stress, including those suffering the effects of anxiety and depression.

Benefits: Participants can expect to experience a number of positive benefits through this class such as and not limited to: lessening feelings of anger and/or fear, lowering of heart rate and blood pressure, reduction of stress and anxiety levels, aid with chronic fatigue syndrome and depression, creation of a deep sense of tranquility, promotion of stillness, peace, and well-being, improvement of the immune function, enhanced and/or deeper restful sleep, synchronization of the right and left hemispheres of the brain, mental and emotional clarity and support.

Betty Gauthier, CVSTP, RMTP, CVMT

Betty’s wellness journey began definitively in the fall of 1999 when a colleague introduced her to the play of Tai Chi.  It was the beginning of a love affair that led her to experience a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit.  Ultimately this awakening called Betty down a path of discovery with Hatha Yoga, Vipassana Meditation, Buddhism, working with sing bowls, Kundalini Yoga, long distance running, Yin Yoga, a Whole Food Plant-Based lifestyle, Shinrin-Yoku, Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, and Vibrational Sound Therapy.

Looking back, Betty can see how each practice… each modality, supported, encouraged, and greatly enhanced the other; establishing a direction that would ultimately be her compass while navigating significant life challenges like trauma, depression, and cancer.  These explorations instilled a passion within her to actively pursue daily balance and healing in life and to look at additional ways to heal and nourish the body, mind, and spirit connection.
